Granting Grace

“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy,

and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”

Hebrews 4:16

Have you ever done or said something horrible?

I have. More times than I’d care to count.

We all have.

We’ve all done something that’s

Ruined a relationship

Ruined a life

Possibly even taken a life.

Stolen self-esteem

Stolen a dream

Possibly even killed a dream.

Betrayed a secret

Betrayed a trust

Possibly even destroyed trust.

In denial about ruin, stealing and betrayal?

What about YOURSELF?

Have you ever done something that

Ruined YOUR OWN life?

Messed up a vital relationship or job?

Stolen YOUR OWN self-esteem?

Undermined yourself with a negative self concept?

Betrayed trust in YOURSELF?

Made a mistake that makes you question your own integrity?

We all have mess ups, undermines, and mistakes.

Every. Single. One. Of. Us.

We've all done something horrible.

Something we regret

Something we can’t take back

Something that’s changed us forever.

We need GRACE.

We need God’s love and forgiveness.

Because God loves us NO MATTER WHAT.

And you know what else?

We need to grant grace to one another.

Because God asks us to love one another.

Since none of us are perfect, love requires grace.

Every single one of us needs grace.

We need love, grace, and forgiveness from each other.

And FOR each other.

Granting Grace – the gift that brings healing and love.

“Dear brothers and sisters, may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.” Galatians 6:18

Share how you've FELT when someone extended GRACE to you.
